Second ODI between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka was called off after no ball could be bowled in the second innings.

Riding on Kusal Mendis and Upul Tharanga's partnership, Sri Lanka managed to set Bangladesh a target of 312. Mendis, became the fourth youngest Sri Lankan batsman to score an ODI hundred while Tharanga got his 30th fifty. With the ball, Taskin Ahmed picked up a hat-trick in the final over but it was too late to prevent the hosts from a massive target. At the break, rain came calling and no play was possible in the second innings. Play was eventually called off at 8.45 PM local time. Bangladesh lead the three match series 1-0 and can’t lose from here.
